iPROGRESS for Her Future

Zion Girls Leadership and Collegiate Preparatory Academy’s 10-month iPROGRESS Program equips girls impacted by parental incarceration with the confidence, preparation, and support to rise beyond their circumstances and pursue their purpose.

Through faith-based mentoring, leadership development, college readiness, healing-centered conversations, and community engagement, each girl is reminded that her parent’s incarceration is part of her story—but it does not define her destiny.

8 Pillars of PROGRESS

From October through May, participants focus on one pillar each month. Every pillar is intentionally designed to be taught, explored, built, and declared:

January: Grow & Evolve
February: Reflect on Self
March: Embrace Change
April: Stay Focused
May: Strive for Success

September opens the program year with orientation, relationship-building, and goal-setting. June closes the year with reflection, celebration, accomplishments, and a declaration of continued growth.

Program Schedule

The PROGRESS Program runs from September through June and includes:

Two in-person Saturday mentoring sessions each month (2nd Saturday & last Saturday)
Two virtual drop-in sessions each month
Monthly Pillar of PROGRESS instruction and activities
College and career readiness experiences
Leadership development and sister mentoring
Civic engagement and community service opportunities
Family and caregiver connection

At Zion Girls, we believe every girl deserves to be seen, heard, supported, and prepared for what is possible. Through PROGRESS, we prepare her, help her, and engage her—one pillar, one experience, and one declaration at a time.

We empower girls to use their voices, gifts, and leadership to serve their communities, address local needs, and become active contributors to positive change.
